IN LETTER:
Today is the premiere of Assassin’s Creed: Valhalla – the latest installment of the RPG series (formerly action adventure games, but over the years the series has undergone major changes) developed by the French company Ubisoft. In production, we get the chance to play the role of a Viking named Eivor, who tries to find a new home for himself and his clan in 9th-century England. The title is available on PCs (Uplay or Epic Games Store – for respectively 249 and 250 PLN) and PlayStation 4 consoles (289 zlotys), Xbox One and Xbox Series X / S (PLN 289.99). Next week, the game will also be launched on Sony’s debuting platform – PlayStation 5. The production has a Polish language version (cinema – with subtitles).
AC: Valhalla – Average on Metacritic
It is worth recalling that according to the reviewers it is a really successful production (82-85% average on Metacritic) that offers solid gameplay and engaging content. Unfortunately, the game is dragged down by bugs and technical issues. In our review, Assassin’s Creed: Valhalla got a high score of 8/10.
Valhalla is an attempt to satisfy all concerned, and it is a successful attempt. Fans of the erpeg series of the series got basically the same as before, with a few quite significant modifications, old fans of the assassin saga will finally be able to say that this is it Assassin’s Creed flesh and blood. With a little self-denial, it can be played as in the first parts of the series, and the plot is full of numerous references to the universe and offers a multitude of new facts and surprising events. I belong to the latter group, and I’m glad there is at least as much fanservice here as there were in Origins. I hope it will stay that way, because the fact that we will have another “Assassin” in some time is as sure as an amen in the prayer. You will see for yourself when you see the grand finale … – wrote Krystian Smoszna.

Below, we also remind you of the hardware requirements of Assassin’s Creed: Valhalla. The creators presented as many as five sample configurations: Minimum, Recommended, High, Enthusiast and Ultra. Unfortunately, independent performance tests suggest that generating a constant 60 frames per second in 4K resolution and with details at the maximum level can be a challenge beyond the capabilities of modern graphics cards.
