Fallout 76, however, will receive mod support
Fallout 76 would benefit a lot from providing official modding tools.
Before the premiere of Fallout 76, Bethesda announced that the game would receive mod support. This has not happened so far, so most players felt that this promise would never be realized. It turns out, however, that the creators did not abandon these plans at all.
During a panel at this year’s QuakeCon Jeff Gardiner, who heads the development team, ensured that the developers are still working on official support for mods, although he did not reveal when we see the effects. He explained that it takes so long, because the online nature of Fallout 76 makes it impossible to simply transfer tools from other studio productions, such as Fallout 4.
Currently, modifying Fallout 76 is very limited. Only small projects are available – without official support and tools, it is impossible to create something more ambitious. Fallout 4 He gained a lot from fan productions and the F76 would undoubtedly be similar.
Fallout 76 was released in November 2018 on PC, Xbox One and PlayStation 4. The debut turned out to be a disaster due to the terrible technical condition. Thanks to many months of updates, the authors managed to regain the sympathy of a large number of players.
