Stadia players have been at a loss for new games recently, as a second week has passed without any appearing, but there are plenty to come. This weekend, however, Stadia players can enjoy Ghost Recon: Breakpoint free, as well as enjoying updates to a handful of titles.
We rounded up some of the Stadia news that we might not otherwise talk about. This includes a roundup of new games released on Stadia during the week, which games saw updates and patches, new confirmed or speculated games for the platform, and more. Check back every Friday and don’t forget to check out Bandwidth, our weekly look at the rest of the cloud gaming world, including GeForce Now, Luna and more. New games now available on Stadia
No new games arrived in the Stadia store this week, the second week in a row for Google’s platform. Still, starting this week, Google added 47 games to Stadia in calendar year 2021, on track for the promise of at least 100 titles added this year.
Games coming to Stadia
Google officially announced two new games heading to Stadia this week, including Control: Ultimate Edition and Olympic Games Tokyo. The latter will arrive on June 22, while Control will arrive during the summer.
Finally, this week, an official update was provided on Ark: Survival Evolved. The game was delayed until “summer,” but it really looks like it could come sooner rather than later. After passing through the USK last week, the game has now made its way to PEGI. We don’t have a confirmed release date for the game yet, but it really seems at least imminent.
