Google concludes the beta program of Android 12: released the final version of QPR3
Google, after three months of testing, released the Quarter Platform Release 3, which brings the Android 12 version to 12.1. This is a complete update, which marks the conclusion of the beta program for Android 12: “We are pleased to announce that the official release of Android 12 June will begin shipping worldwide on Pixel devices starting today! This concludes our beta program for Android 12 (QPR3).”
Furthermore, another novelty has emerged, namely the possibility of leaving the program after installing this update without seeing the contents of the device deleted (as it happened in the past). In fact, the beta program of Android 12 has already been replaced by that of Android 13 (already in the second beta).
Finally, looking a little to the future, Google will keep the Android 13 beta program until “June 2023 with the public release of Android June QPR and Pixel Feature Drop”.
