Here’s how Android 13 will help you control your consumption

In the world of Android smartphones we are preparing for the arrival of Android 13, the new release of the green robot that will be launched in a stable version in the autumn but which we already know thanks to the first beta released by Google.

After installing the first public beta of Android 13 on Pixel 6 those of Smartdroid have unearthed an interesting novelty operating system. It is about the possibility of keep track of consumption more punctually, receiving notifications when one or more apps are running in the background. The screenshots in the gallery show the example where the Samsung Health app is running.

The notification also provides for the possibility of close quickly the app in question, via the quick link provided below. Notification it is not particularly invasiveas it is proposed in the bottom of the notification panel, right where the links for the shutdown / restart and settings menu have been moved. Only by tapping on it will you see the expanded notification in the foreground.

With this feature we expect to be able to keep track of consumption in the background, without having to go through the settings system.
