How to fix WiFi problem on iPad

Are you having some problems with the WiFi connection of your iPad? Apple is aware of the problem, and has some ideas on how to fix them.

According to Apple, the iPad cannot automatically rejoin known WiFi networks through third-party routers that have dual-band capability (802.11 b / g and 802.11 n) when each band’s network uses the same name or uses different security settings. .

Apple’s recommendation? Try to create separate network names for the networks in each band (ie: add a G to the end of the name of the 802.11 b / g band) and make sure that the networks in both bands use the same security settings.

We have been fortunate not to have this problem, but what about you? Was this solution able to solve your problem, or is it a bigger problem than it sounds?
