IPhone users, here’s how Google wants you to switch to Android

For more than a decade now in the smartphone landscape Apple and Google have been battling, the first with iOS and the second with Android, which collect practically all smartphone sales in the world in terms of the operating system adopted.

Both also offer tools for facilitate as much as possible the transition from one software platform to another. In the last hours 9to5Google has had the opportunity to try the new app Switch to Androidthe one that Google makes available to those who understand switch from iOS to Android without too much pain.

It should be noted that this is not an absolute novelty, as Google has long offered tips to make it easier for you to switch from an iOS to an Android device, without having to go through manual data restores. The new Switch to Android however is easier to use and it does not require a connection cable between devices.

The images show that the unique association can be made via QR codewhile the app will allow you to transfer all multimedia content, contacts, messages and personal settings from iPhone to new Android device. The passage of multimedia contents can be carried out starting with iCloud.

The app is not yet available publicly and Google has not indicated when it will be. We will come back to update you as soon as the new Switch to Android arrives on the App Store.
