Link your card to Apple PAY and make payments from the iPhone

After the news that we can now use the payment service created by the company of the bitten apple, today we are going to show you how to link your card to Apple PAY. A very easy process to carry out and that will allow, as long as your entity is compatible with this payment system, to pay in establishments that have this payment method enabled.

We can do it in two ways. We will detail them below.

We can enter the data manually or by scanning the card.

Once there, directly, we must insert the card into the box that appears. It will automatically detect it and add its numbering. Then we must follow the steps that appear to finish linking it.

When the box to scan the card appears, we must click on the link that appears at the bottom «Enter the data manually«.

We enter the numbering by hand and then we follow all the steps that the application will mark us.


Once the card is linked to Apple PAY, we can pay at the establishment that accepts this type of payment, in the following ways:

  • With iPhone: We will only have to bring the POS iPhone, All the linked cards will appear, you will select the one to pay with and place your finger on Touch ID to verify your identity.
  • In apps and pages: In the apps and pages that allow this payment method, a menu will appear indicating that you have to use Touch ID to pay.
  • With Apple Watch: We must press the button located under the digital crown twice to launch Apple Pay, and then bring it closer to the POS.
  • From a Mac: It will ask us to pay with Touch ID, if you have one of the new Macbook Pro, or you will have to verify the purchase with your iPhone.
