One of the worlds we’ll test is Of Temples and Totems RTX.
Today will start beta Minecraft RTX, which is a special version Mojang games offering ray tracing support. The tests will be open-ended. By the way, you will be able to check the NVIDIA DLSS 2.0 technique in action.
The beta will be available to people who have a version of the game prepared for Windows 10. After the premiere of the full edition, owners of this edition will receive ray tracing support for free as part of the update.
At the same time, Nvidia released new drivers for GeForce cards. Their download is required to play the Minecraft beta with ray tracing, as they introduce support for DLSS 2.0 technology in this game. In addition, the drivers have been optimized for these tests, which should prove to be very useful given how demanding the RTX effects are on the hardware.
The new Nvidia drivers also offer optimization improvements designed for the two upcoming games in the form of the SnowRunner truck simulator and the PC version of the FPS Call of Duty: Modern Warfare 2 Campaign Remastered. Both titles will debut at the end of this month.
The drivers also add support for another three G-SYNC compliant monitors. The Acer XB273GP, Acer XB323U and ASUS V27B models received the appropriate certificates.
Six worlds designed with ray tracing in mind:
