Samsung plans to sell fewer leaflets in 2023?
Not even the time to officially launch the Galaxy Z Fold 4 and Z Flip 4 that rumors are already circulating about Samsung Z Fold 5 and Z Flip 5. Obviously these are not advances on the technical data sheets, but they could better understand the strategies that the Korean company would be evaluating regarding future leaflets.
According to what is written by “The Elec”, Samsung would be sharply cutting shipping targets concerning their Z Fold 5 and Z Flip 5. Therefore, the company would think to sell less folding in the 2023 compared to this year and previous years. In detail, the target would have been set at a total of 10 million of units. Among these, only 2 million units of the first device should be distributed by the company which, therefore, would definitely focus more on the Flip 5. To make a direct comparison, the same Samsung would set it at 15 millioninstead, the shipping goal for the next Z Fold 4 and Z Flip 4.
This revision of the expedition goals would have been caused from rising raw material costs, the ongoing war between Ukraine and Russia and slow global economic growth. Obviously these are indiscretions, all to be verified. The Elec didn’t stop there, however. In fact, he also shared some specifics of the Z Fold 5. According to the Korean publication, the folding will have three cameras on the backincluding Samsung’s GN3 sensor from 50 MP. The front one, on the other hand, could be from 12 MP. The processor, of both folds, should be Snapdragon 8 Gen 2.
In any case, the wait is now all towards the Galaxy Z Fold 4 and Z Flip 4 that should be presented on August 10 during theSamsung’s upcoming Galaxy Unpacked.
