The latest beta of Apple Music for Android introduces a welcome feature not found in iOS

Sometimes it can happen that the operating system developers offer better services on their apps for the competing platform. It was the case with Googlewhich on iOS has had for some time more curated widgetsand now Apple with its Android app Apple Music.

After having in fact renewed his widgetthe new beta of the app features a welcome functionality not present on iOS, the in-app Sleep Timerto adjust the sleep timer in a much more refined way than what you can do now on iOS via the Clock app.

The new feature is in the last beta of the appversion 3.10, and to see it you have to go to:

• click on three dots next to the song / artist name

At the end of settings you will find a new option called “Sleep Timer“, in time increments from 15 minutes to 1 hour. After selecting the chosen timea countdown in real time that persists across multiple selections.

Other options include “When the current song ends“,”When the current album ends” And “When the current playlist ends“(image above). Your choice is confirmed by a message on the screen and you can deactivate the timer at any time.
