The new Youtube chat arrives. What does Google want to achieve with it?

Comes the Youtube chat. A new function that allows you to share videos with your friends, family, colleagues … and comment on them live.

It seemed that the new Youtube message feature and here we have it. Let us remember that it is a functionality that was implemented in Canada months ago and, finally, it is extended to the whole world. If you do not have it available yet, it is a matter of time before it reaches your terminal.

You must have the app updated. The new version 12.30, is the one that supports this new function of private messages.

Youtube changed the way we consume content. Formerly we only searched Google, Yahoo… on topics that interested us. Today, especially the youth, search in Youtube before looking at another platform. And it is that in this video platform, you can find all kinds of information.

WHAT DOES GOOGLE WANT TO ACHIEVE WITH ITS NEW YOUTUBE CHAT FEATURE?

Apparently Google you want videos to be shared through your video platform. We no longer need to copy the URL of a video to share it with our friends via Whatsapp, iMessage … . Google wants us to do it from within Youtube, making the task of sharing video content more agile and enjoyable.

In addition, it is a plus for people to stop using third-party applications and use the official app of Youtube.

Apparently many people use third-party apps, to be able to enjoy their content. It is true that many of them are much more complete than the official app and many others offer functionalities, such as listen to videos with iPhone locked or download Youtube videos, which are very good for us.

It is because of that Google is improving its official app, so that people who are not in it, use it again.

Will it be a fiasco? Have they been right with the inclusion of the new Youtube chat?… What you think?
