Unable to restore my iPhone 5 due to the passcode for the restriction

I was half asleep when I put in a passcode for the restriction for my child to play on it.

I went to reset it so I have to turn off “find my phone”, but I can’t due to the restrictions. How can I fix this?

You can refer to this Github project to retrieve the restriction codes from an unencrypted backup. https://github.com/gwatts/pinfinder/blob/master/README.md

The short answer is no.

The long answer is to clean the device and then start over. If you have a backup, hopefully it is already before the restrictions are set.
