Vivo appears to be following the growing trend of launching multiple successors within a year. The Vivo X21 went official in March this year and arrived in India just two months ago; And now just six months after its initial release, the successor to the I live X23.
The company has listed the smartphone on its Chinese website and is taking reservations for the same. Pricing and availability details should also be announced by the company soon. It is seen that the Vivo X23 has a waterdrop screen notch and a vertical dual camera setup at the rear.
Vivo X23 Specifications
The booking button for interested customers has been published live and some features have been highlighted. The website confirms that the Vivo X23 will have a screen-to-body ratio of 91.2 percent. Also a glass panel that will feature a 3D design for a superior gradient finish in various color options.
It is also foreseen that come with a fingerprint scanner fourth generation screen. A waterdrop notch is seen on the front, similar to the one on the Oppo F9 Pro. Also a vertical dual camera setup sits on the back.
Previous leaks suggest that the Vivo X23 will come with advanced 3D facial recognition, a fingerprint scanner in the next generation similar to the one found in the Xiaomi Mi 8 Explorer Edition, a 6.4-inch full screen and a Qualcomm Snapdragon 670 processor paired with 8GB of RAM. In addition, the smartphone will also feature a “separate” audio DAC.
The Vivo X23 has two color options: purple and blue on the website. However, more colors may be announced on launch day. Full specs are yet to be listed on the page, though they should appear soon.
