WhatsApp Desktop fixes the avatar bug

The last day was not very happy for WhatsApp users, especially those who use the Desktop version of the well-known messaging platform. This was suffering from a bug to contact list.

The image you see in the gallery below shows the bug we’re talking about. It practically turned out unable to view avatars associated with each WhatsApp Desktop contact. This was valid for the individual contacts and for i chat groups. The bug involved initiated conversations as well as contacts in the address book.

With the new app update, associated with the version 2.22.8.5 of WhatsApp Beta, the bug appears definitely resolvedwith all the contact avatars that have returned regularly viewed. The same fix should be extended to WhatsApp Web.
