WhatsApp is working on a feature to enhance ephemeral messages

For a year now, Whatsapp has introduced ephemeral messages, i.e. messages that disappear after a certain time set by the user (here you can find our guide on how to send them).

Now in the last one Beta for Androidon 2.22.11.11, the guys from WABetaInfo have found one new featureunder development and not yet active, which will allow you to set ephemeral messages for even more existing chats.

In fact, the new function will allow you to select even more existing chats (white arrow in the image above) in order to make them ephemeral. At that point a new page will open where you can select the conversations to convert them into chats that disappear. This new setting is very useful when you want to enable pop-up messages for different chats, without having to manually set ephemeral messages within each chat.
