We all know that technology is always improving and that new phones always emerge. So, a reliable source told us that we had just released a new flagship phone from Oppo. The thing is called an Oppo Reno 8 Pro 5G. We wish it will be a great mobile that won’t break the bank.
Even though most news is still out there, it is not official. But you can trust them. From what I’ve learned, I will talk about the Oppo Reno 8 Pro 5G’s price, specs, release date, and other details here.
Specifications for the OPPO Reno 8 5G and Reno 8 Pro 5G
In China, OPPO showed off three new phones in May: the Reno 8, the Reno 8 Pro, and the Reno 8 Pro+. From left to right, these devices come with a Dimensity 1300, a Snapdragon 7 Gen 1, and a Density 8100-Max. India will only get two of these devices, though.
The first is the basic model, and the second is the Reno 8 Pro, a rebranded version of the Reno 8 Pro+ from China. When the Reno 8 trio showed up on the Bluetooth SIG certification site in June, it was clear that the company had changed its name.
On the OPPO website, it says that buyers of the Reno 8 series will get benefits like a one-time screen replacement (only for the Pro model), a 10 percent discount of up to Rs 4,000, an extra discount of up to Rs 3,000 for exchanging an OPPO device, and 80% off for obtaining OPPO Care+ service.
OPPO Reno 8 5G and Reno 8 Pro 5G display and design
The AMOLED screen on the Reno 8 will be 6.43 inches, while the one on the Reno 8 Pro will be 6.7 inches. Both phones will have a resolution of Full HD+ and a ratio of 20:9. The Reno 8 series will have a refresh rate of up to 120Hz and a fingerprint reader built into the screen.
The Reno 8 has a hole in the top left corner, but the Pro model has a hole in the top middle. The back of the vanilla model seems to be polycarbonate, while the back of the Pro model might be made of glass. The Reno 8 Pro is only 7.34mm thick, and OPPO has confirmed this.
Cameras for the OPPO Reno 8 5G and Reno 8 Pro 5G
Leaks have shown that the front-facing camera on the Reno 8 and Reno 8 Pro will be 32 megapixels. A Sony IMX709 camera sensor is likely to be built into both devices.
The Reno 8 5G will feature a 50-megapixel (main) + 8-megapixel (ultra-wide) + 2-megapixel triple camera unit. The camera specs for the Pro model will be the same.
But the Reno 8 Pro will likely have the Sony IMX766 main camera, which may not be on the regular model. The 6nm MariSilicon X imaging NPU will be one of the most appealing features of the Reno 8 Pro. The chip improves photography by letting you make portrait videos with bokeh flare and shoot night videos in 4K Ultra HDR quality.
Hardware and software of the OPPO Reno 8 5G and Reno 8 Pro 5G
The OPPO Reno 8 will have a chip called Dimensity 1300 and RAM called LPDDR4x. The Pro version will have a Density-8100 Max chip and RAM called LPDDR5. Both models will have UFS 3.1 storage built in.
Both devices will have a 4,500mAh battery that can be charged at up to 80W. When using an 80W SuperVOOC charger, OPPO says that the Reno 8 series can go from 0% to 50% in 11 minutes. The operating system for the Reno 8 duo will be Android 12, with ColorOS 12.1 on top.
What to expect from the OPPO Pad Air and Enco X2
The OPPO Pad Air will come with a 10.36-inch LCD screen that supports 1,200 x 2,000 pixels, a Snapdragon 680 graphics card, and up to 6GB of LPDDR4x RAM, up to 128GB of UFS 2.2 storage, and a 7,100mAh battery that supports 18W charging. It will have a 5-megapixel front-facing camera, an 8-megapixel rear-facing camera, and quad speakers.
The Enco X2 TWS earbuds will have an 11mm audio driver, up to 45 dB of active noise cancellation (ANC), up to 27 hours of battery life, and an IP54 rating. It works with Bluetooth 5.2 and has a transition protocol for LHDC 4.0.
Release date of the Oppo Reno 8 Pro 5G:
Since OPPO hasn’t said anything about this phone, it might not be out for a while. But we do know some things about when this phone will come out. We now know that the release date for the Oppo Reno 8 Pro 5G will be at the end of 2022.
OPPO Reno 8’s expected price
On July 18, Oppo is also expected to release a non-Pro version of the Oppo Reno 8. The renders of this phone were leaked earlier today by a tipster.
