We will play Assassin’s Creed: Valhalla at the end of the year.
Almost two weeks have passed since the announcement of Assassin’s Creed: Valhalla, but the developers are still revealing additional details about this project. The new information concerns the quality of the version for the next generation of consoles. The developers betrayed the Portuguese branch of Eurogamerthat on the Xbox Series X AC: Valhalla is supposed to work in 4K resolution and at least 30 frames per second. It may seem a bit disappointing, but it is also not a special surprise, as the latest productions in this series for PC required a lot of CPUs and graphics cards if we wanted to play at maximum settings.
It has not been specified whether this means a constant 30 FPS, or whether the animation will exceed this value. It is also unknown whether similar plans are applicable to PlayStation 5. It is also possible that an option to reduce the resolution will be offered in exchange for 60 frames per second.
The developers also announced that the power of the Xbox Series X will not only provide 4K resolution. We can also expect a higher level of detail than on the older generation equipment and much shorter loading times.
Assassin’s Creed: Valhalla is coming to PCs, Xbox One, Xbox Series X, PlayStation 4 and PlayStation 5 as well as the Google Stadia streaming service. The game will be released at the end of this year. It is worth mentioning that the production will be part of the Smart Delivery program. Thanks to this, people who buy the game on XONE will get the XSX edition for free.
