I’m trying to free up some space and want to get rid of podcast and ibooks apps. I went into the settings restrictions and removed the restrictions for these applications, but I still can’t get rid of them. How is it possible to eliminate these applications?

No, it is not possible to delete standard apple / apple applets. It is possible to delete individual podcasts or iBooks, but not the applications themselves. Hopefully, Apple will allow this in a future iOS release. |
