Download applications on 1st gen ipad

I bought my mom a 1st Jan for Mothers Day. But now I can’t get any applications! Any help would be appreciated. I have no idea where to start.

  • Moving from the original iPad to the new iPad (2012): is there a cover like Apple’s black one for the new iPad?
  • Connection of 2 iPads with a router without internet
  • Is there a key to activate the Home button on an iPad external keyboard?
  • Why can’t my iPad edit / save / upload PowerPoint to onedrive
  • The iTunes “Check for Update” button presents a dialog box requesting a file

A first generation iPad only supports iOS 5. This means that it only runs applications that continue to support iOS 5, which are few and far between.

To download these applications, go to the App Store (the blue icon on the iPad home screen) and you will be able to download apps. In case of download or an error which is not supported, in which case the download is not possible.
