Movies leave the Play Store: The Movies section disappears from the Google store

As already announced in March, the films officially leave the Play Store: Google in fact wants everything related to movies and TV series to pass by Google TV, the app that therefore takes the legacy of Google Play Film. For a few hours, the tab relating to the purchase and rental of this type of content has also disappeared on the BigG store.

On the Play Store, therefore, they are now present three tabs at the bottom: we have the one related to appthe one for i games and the one for i booksto which a fourth tab is added, namely the one relating to Play Pass, for those who subscribe to the service. As mentioned, for all film-related operations, such as purchase or rental, you will have to switch to Google TV. Of course, all content already purchased will remain accessible with the new app.
