The Netflix platform has released the trailer for its new science fiction comedy series. Space Forces They will debut on May 29, and they will tell about the adventures of Mark R. Naird (played by Steve Carell), who had to lead the title of the sixth type of the US Army.
Although the main character dreamed of commanding the US Air Force, he was appointed the commander of the title Space Forces. From now on, he will have to cooperate with various scientists and astronauts, following the commands that come “from above” (and thus from the White House). I am talking about, among other things, the rapid return of man to the moon or the complete domination of space by America (before someone else does). In addition to Steve Carell, in Space Forces will perform, among others: John Malkovich, Diana Silvers, Tawny Newsome and Ben Schwartz.
Behind the series are the creators of the popular Biuro Steve Carell plays the main character, Greg Daniels takes over as showrunner, and Howard Klein from 3Arts is executive producer. The Space Forces were created under the watchful eye of experts such as astronauts, scientists and Mark Vazquez, who advised the authors on military issues.
How did this series even come about? Well, as you can read in the official press release, the originator of the series was the Netflix platform. Initially, Carell and Daniels had only the title, but after many creative meetings and brainstorms, the vision of both the main character and the adventures awaited him. The creators’ ambition was not only to make the viewers laugh, but also to respect the military qualities of the main character and the subject of space conquest with due respect. We will see if they succeeded in just over three weeks.
