OnePlus 6 Series Receives July 2021 Security Patch

Earlier this month, OnePlus finally released the first Android 11-based OxygenOS 11 open beta for the OnePlus 6 and OnePlus 6T mobiles, allowing users to test the new software before the public release. While it will be some time before the stable Android 11 update is released to everyone, OnePlus continues to improve the software experience for those running Android 10.

A new July 2021 security patch for the OnePlus 6 and OnePlus 6T. The latest update improves system stability, fixes known bugs, and increases the security patch level. It’s a minor update, weighing in at just 175MB in size, with the only highlight being the July 2021 updated security patches.

OxygenOS 10.3.12 update changelog:

OxygenOS 10.3.12 has started to spread to the OnePlus 6 and OnePlus 6T units. The update will be rolled out in batches, so it could take some time before it reaches all units. But the good news is that you can install it on your OnePlus 6 / 6T right away without waiting for the automatic launch. Below we provide direct download links for full and incremental OTA zippers, which you can flash on your device to manually update your phone. To do so, download the correct OTA package corresponding to your model from below and update it from recovery or using the Local Update option in Settings> System> System updates.
