Tough smartphones and tablets? Galaxy XCover 6 Pro and Tab Active 4 Pro coming soon
For certain types of work you need to have type devices with you rugged, or devices that are particularly resistant to shocks, dust and water. In this sense, Samsung will soon launch a smartphone and a tablet, the Galaxy XCover 6 Pro and the Galaxy Tab Active 4 Pro tablet. The two products will be presented during an online event that will take place on July 13.
As for the smartphone, in the past few days it has been shown in some leaked renderings. 5G enabled, the Galaxy XCover 6 Pro will feature a utilitarian design and a vertical stripe pattern on the rear panel. Also, on the device you will be able to remove the battery: for rugged smartphones, in fact, the Korean company makes an exception.
On the camera side, however, the smartphone will be able to count on two rear sensors, of which, however, nothing is known yet. The display will be FHD +while the processor will almost certainly be the Qualcomm Snapdragon 778G flanked by 6GB of RAM. Finally, further information on the technical specifications is not available. On the software side, Samsung’s One UI will be based on Android 12.
The Galaxy Tatb Active 4 Pro tablet, as well as the smartphone, is designed for those who work in environments such as construction sites or industrial type. It will not have a removable battery, but it will be compatible with the S Pen, a very useful tool for marking notes, for example. As for the technical specifications, we will have to wait a little longer, while it is already known that this tablet will offer one very high impact and fall protection.
The two products, in fact, will be presented on July 13. During the event, which will take place online, price and availability should also be revealed.
